The BOVILIS® Cavalry® 9 Clostridial Vaccine is a bacterin-toxoid vaccine for cattle formulated to help protect against a broad range of clostridial diseases, including tetanus, blackleg, malignant edema, black disease, red water, gas gangrene, and enterotoxemia. It is recommended for the immunization of healthy cattle 3 months of age or older and provides protection against diseases caused by Clostridium chauvoei, septicum, haemolyticum, novyi type B, sordellii, tetani, and perfringens types C and D, with additional immunity against the beta and epsilon toxins of type B. This vaccine is intended for use as part of a routine herd health program under veterinary guidance.
