The 580-7606 Metric PTO Yoke (Series 2400) with Over-Running Clutch is designed for PTO-driven implements with significant rotating mass, allowing the implement to free-wheel to a stop when tractor PTO power is reduced or shut off. By preventing the implement from back-driving the tractor, the over-running clutch improves control and safety during deceleration and shutdown. This unit uses a 1-3/8" 6-spline bore with SPRING-LOK connection and is rated up to 66 HP at 540 RPM and 102 HP at 1,000 RPM. (Note: Over-running clutches do not absorb energy, so startup overload protection must be handled by other means.)
